Join our General Surgery Ambulatory team in Bloomington, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care alongside a collaborative team of 6 providers and 5 APPs. In this dynamic clinic setting, RNs are involved in nurse triage, patient education, wound care, documentation, order entry, assisting with surgical patient needs, and supporting in-office procedures. This full-time position offers a flexible schedule of either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, based on department needs, with clinic hours Monday through Friday.

Candidates should have at least one year of RN experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. This role is based at our Bloomington location with occasional travel to Bedford as needed, providing an excellent opportunity to expand your skills while making a meaningful impact on the surgical patient journey.

Qualifications:

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN);
  Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions:
  Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
