Salary Range: $16.50 - $17.00 Hourly
Job Shift: 1st Shift
POSITION PURPOSESeeking a Quality Inspector to inspect product to ensure compliance with quality standards, perform testing for analysis purposes and perform auditing as directed by Quality Supervisor as well as identifying defects and non-conformances.
DUTIES: (include but not limited to)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Ensure quality standards for products are followed
- Read process flow maps, specification documents to ensure operations meets production standards
- Recommend any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes
- Inspect and test materials and equipment
- Use necessary quality tools and equipment to measure products
- Remove and quarantine any products/materials that don't meet production standards
- Accept or reject finished products
- Discuss inspection results and metrics with production department
- Perform inspections at random to assess product conformity
- Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics
- Monitor the use of equipment/tools to ensure it is well-maintained
- Develop methods, tools, and processes to measure, understand, and improve core processes and perform these activities in alignment with company values.
- Participate on project teams as needed
- Other duties as required.

- Proven experience as a quality inspector
- Minimum of 2+ years working in a quality role
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
- Experience using quality measurement tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and testing methodologies
- Demonstrated communication skills, including tact, judgment, influence and the ability to work effectively with employees at all organizational levels required.
- Analytical skills, including the ability to conduct research, analyze data, and prepare recommendations
- Ability to read blueprints/schematics
- Ability to interpret work instructions
- ISO experience
- Must be flexible to work extended hours when needed and modified shifts to support site events and activities
- General climate controlled office environment.
- Low noise level.
- Prolonged sitting and repetitive motion due to extended computer use.
- Occasional exposure to production, distribution area working conditions, including noise, and dust exposure and lift truck traffic.
- Stress related to conflicting priorities and meeting schedule deadlines.
- Ability to see, and speak, hear, write, and understand English.
- Sustained attention to detail.
- Ability to read and analyze data and other written information.
- Minimal physical exertion.
7am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday with additional hours as necessary to meet production demand
