Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker)

Pay range: $16.00/hr to $17.00/hr (based on experience)

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and interacting with them in person and by phone
• Process sales, loans, and extensions
• Perform opening and closing store duties
• Interact daily with customers to facilitate mutually satisfying agreements for pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more

• High school diploma or GED
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Work well independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to multitask
• Pass a criminal background check and drug test (performed after a conditional offer)
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items such as tools, jewelry, firearms, or electronics (a plus)
• Sales background (a plus)
• Bilingual (a plus)

Start as a trainee in a 5‑week paid training program, earn a $0.50 hourly raise, and receive promotion to Pawnbroker upon completion. Continue to grow by entering the Pawnbroker Certification Program for an additional $1.00/hour. Subsequent promotion opportunities include Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Leader) and Assistant Manager (with a 6‑month training program to build the foundation to run your own store).
