Production On Site Coordinator

Overview

The On‑Site Vestis Coordinator is a critical asset to ensuring the rotation of inventory. The Coordinator is responsible for notifying Customer contacts of any issues with deliveries, losses, or ruins. All issues should be handled within a timely manner, preferably within 24 hours.

• Break down totes from new deliveries
• Stock garment racks with age‑appropriate garments
• Use FIFO practice to stock the oldest garments first
• Mark totes with appropriate dates
• Rotate all garments to ensure no expiry is left on the shelf
• Stock on each shift (or until adequately stocked)
• Monitor slow‑moving inventory and determine whether stock reductions are necessary
• Provide weekly status updates to Customer contact (All Areas)
• Report issues with garments, stocking, orders, etc.
• Address lack of garment rotation (sizes sitting for extended periods)
• Manage ruins/lost garments
• Maintain garment racking system in correct date sequence and review daily
• Handle dirty laundry: remove dirty garments, ensure they are on the dock for pick‑up
• Provide backup for other on‑site coordinators
• Understand other location stocking areas and notify of days out of office
• Understand stocking process
• Implement returns/reprocessing: gather garments to be reprocessed, compile a list of size, quantity, and items for Customer contact, obtain authorization from Customer contact prior to sending back, and communicate the list of items being returned to Vestis

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Detail oriented
• Intermediate computer skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Customer service experience preferred

• Must be able to safely lift, carry or maneuver a minimum of 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs on a frequent basis, and load/unload product from a truck without assistance
• Remain standing/walking for extended periods daily
• Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions, including extreme hot/cold temperatures depending on location
• Fast‑paced environment requiring irregular and long hours
