Overview
Hospice Account Executive/Liaison at Redcrest Hospice, Bloomington.
Job Focus:
Engage healthcare professionals, build relationships, and secure new and maintain existing accounts for home healthcare services.
- Educate healthcare professionals about the Company's services (physician’s offices, long-term care facilities, rehab centers, hospitals).
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals in surrounding communities.
- Create awareness in the community of the need and benefits of home healthcare services.
- Network and attend business organizations on behalf of the Company.
- Develop and organize educational programs for the community and healthcare workers.
- Maintain existing accounts and educate clients, preparing them for services.
- Coordinate new referral admission process to ease transition by working closely with internal staff.
- Follow up with referrals to assess how service is going through phone calls, letters, and visits.
- Prepare weekly marketing reports for supervisor.
- Prepare monthly expense reports.
- Set weekly, monthly, and yearly goals in obtaining new accounts, referrals, and customers.
- Attending in‑service trainings and mandatory agency meetings.
- Maintain a professional appearance as a representative of the company.
- Attend ongoing educational seminars to keep updated on new trends in Medicare, Medicaid, Home Healthcare policies, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field or 4 years of healthcare sales experience, preferably in homecare or hospice.
- High degree of creativity and a proven sales track record.
- Ability to create positive impressions and communicate with a variety of people.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and co‑workers.
- Presents self in a highly professional manner.
- Ability to make appropriate judgments.
- Ability to identify a situation and handle it with the best possible solution.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Ability to take initiative, attain targets, and meet deadlines.

- Constantly (66%-100%): Reading, speaking, writing English; communications skills; computer/PDA usage; hand/finger dexterity; hearing/seeing; vision for close work; talking on the phone; hearing on the phone; talking in person; hearing in person.
- Driving Frequently (34%-66%): Driving.
- Walking, bending, standing, sitting, stretching/reaching, climbing: Occasional.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance: Occasionally.
