Job Summary
Field Store Associate at Lowe’s will drive and increase sales, engage customers in Paint and Pro, generate leads, implement sales and marketing programs, provide exceptional customer service, and manage merchandising. The position is part‑time with weekdays/afternoons/weekends at Store #634, 350 N Gates Dr, Bloomington, IN 47404.
Responsibilities- Drive sales growth and deliver training to Lowe’s associates.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Assist customers by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
- Build productive relationships and trust with wholesale and retail customers.
- Maintain Pro customer color files, tint and mix products to specifications.
- Maintain store appearance, inventory best practices, and color wall/back stock.
- Provide in‑store Pro Desk paint support, including real‑time customer needs and in‑store promotional events.
- Promote Sherwin‑Williams and Valspar brand standards to Lowe’s associates, customers, and contractors.
- Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly; assist Sales Representatives in generating leads.
- Train Lowe’s associates on product knowledge and application methods.
- Complete eLearning modules and maintain HR Cloud trainings.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Able to retrieve material from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
- Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
- Previous experience selling paint and related products.
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, including Spanish.
