Research Assistant/Associate, Research Scientist
Overview
Lim Laboratory is seeking a part‑time research technician to start after March 1, 2026. The laboratory investigates neurodegenerative disorders, including glaucoma, using in vivo and ex vivo imaging with multiphoton microscopy.
Responsibilities- Assists the Principal Investigator in conducting sponsored research using mouse models.
- Maintains laboratory mice.
- Performs small animal surgery, tissue preparation and immunohistochemical staining.
- Plans animal experiments and reports results.
- Maintains laboratory supply requisition and management.
- Trains junior‑level staff.
- Required:
Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in laboratory animals and molecular biology techniques.
- Proficient communication skills.
