EMCOR Group - - Responsibilities:
Select cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves according to weight and size of load to be moved;
Attach pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts and clamps;
Attach load with grappling devices to crane hook;
Give directions to Crane Operator engaged in hoisting and moving loads using hand signals or telephone;
Set up, brace, and rig hoisting equipment using hand tools and power wrenches
