Working on damaged or faulty electrical wiring circuits
Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
Applying routine and preventative measures to the building and equipment to reduce the risk of future problems.
Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Details

We are currently seeking an experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment, focusing on minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and fix them before they become a problem.

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all equipment, including HVAC systems.

Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed, and troubleshoot issues to determine the best solution.

Work closely with the production team to coordinate maintenance and repair work, and ensure minimal disruption to production schedules.

Keep detailed records of all maintenance work performed, including any parts or materials used.

Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance techniques and best practices, and recommend improvements to current procedures.

Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations, and take responsibility for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance role within the manufacturing industry.

Proven experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician.

A solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as industrial electrical systems.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of machinery and equipment.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

A relevant trade qualification or certification would be an advantage.
