Western Express, Inc is recruiting for a Trailer Technician to join our Maintenance team. We are looking for candidates with mechanical aptitude and a drive to learn, with the goal of advancement within the department. Western Express is an asset‑based trucking company headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee with terminals and facilities located across the United States. This is a full‑time position scheduled 45 hours weekly.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair fleet of dry‑van and flat‑bed semi‑truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components
• Perform preventative maintenance to include preventative, warrantable, and accident‑related repairs
• Inspect suspension, wheel‑end, braking, and structural components to match company and DOT specifications
• Test equipment for performance issues
• Must be self‑motivated, punctual, and eager to learn

Compensation: $20.50-$30 per hour depending on experience.

• Two years of verifiable experience is preferred but not required
• Tooling is required; applicable to repairs listed in job description. Main air tools will be provided
• Must perform at 85% or above productivity and 95% or above efficiency
