Cool Sys is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Service Technician to join our Engineering & Maintenance team in the HVAC wholesale industry. In this field-based role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems for retail, commercial, and mission-critical customers, ensuring safe, reliable, and energy-efficient operation. You'll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex refrigeration and mechanical issues, and support system upgrades while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems for retail, industrial, and mission-critical customers.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system start-ups to maximize efficiency and reliability.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Ensure safe, compliant refrigerant handling and proper documentation of all service work.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams with a customer-first mindset.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to implement energy-efficient solutions.
- Follow Cool
- Sys safety standards, policies, and industry regulations on every job site.
- Participate in ongoing technical training and certifications to maintain and grow skillset.
- Accurately complete work orders, service reports, and parts usage in company systems.
- Support on-call rotations and emergency service requests as needed.
