Senior Cloud Integration Engineer

DXC Luxoft's customer is a premium brand of the VAG-group commercial vehicles and our customer is looking at Luxoft as a partner with our strong in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) and HW/SW separation experience. We are seeking a skilled Senior Integration Developer to design and build a microservice that will act as a shim layer between Genesys Cloud, a customer experience platform, and an external AI service.

This microservice will run in a Kubernetes-based PaaS environment hosted in AWS and integrate with AI services hosted in Azure. The developer will be hands-on in building, testing, and deploying this integration layer, ensuring it is reliable, scalable, and secure.

• Develop and deploy a microservice in AWS Kubernetes to serve as a shim layer between a customer engagement platform and an AI service. Implement the logic required to manage real-time communication and routing between platforms. Design and expose API endpoints, handle streaming events, and ensure low-latency performance. Ensure secure data handling, including authentication, authorization, and compliance requirements. Optimize for scalability, resilience, and observability in a real-time interaction context.
  
  Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices. Collaborate with architects and platform engineers to ensure seamless deployment and integration. Document the microservice architecture, design patterns, and operational runbooks.

• Strong background in microservice/backend development (Java, Node.js, Python, or similar).
• Proven experience deploying applications in Kubernetes (EKS, Helm, operators, manifests, CI/CD pipelines).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EKS, API Gateway, Cloud Watch, IAM, etc.).
• Familiarity with Azure-hosted AI services and APIs.
• Experience with event‑driven architecture and real‑time APIs (Web Socket, streaming, gRPC, etc.).
• Solid understanding of cloud security, data protection, and compliance best practices.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
