Apple Tree Staffing is hiring a dependable and motivated Cold Storage Order Picker for a distribution-focused company in the Bloomington area. This organization supports the delivery of a wide variety of grocery products-including refrigerated and frozen goods-to retailers across North America. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment and take pride in accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders in a cold storage (refrigerated/freezer) environment
• Use RF scanners or pick sheets to locate and select products
• Ensure correct product selection, quantities, and quality standards
• Safely operate pallet jacks and/or other warehouse equipment
• Build and stage pallets for shipment according to company guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of cold-weather gear
• Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred
• Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods (freezer/refrigerated environments)
• Comfortable with physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
• Basic math and reading skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
