Overview

LHH is searching for a Corporate Controller for a company located on the south side of the Twin Cities. The ideal candidate will be able to lead a team as a working manager who enjoys digging in when needed. You will own the accounting/finance at this organization and need to be someone who looks to roll up their sleeves to help where needed.

Responsibilities
  • Direct the preparation, review, and accuracy of recurring financial reporting cycles
    , ensuring timely delivery of monthly and year‑end results while supporting external audit activities.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and oversee key financial operations
    , including payroll, compliance processes, tax-related workflows, and the administration of core accounting systems.
  • Provide leadership and development to accounting team members
    , offering guidance, performance oversight, and support to strengthen individual and team capabilities.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with internal departments to ensure financial alignment, enhance processes, and support organizational initiatives and long‑range planning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting
  • 10+ years progressive accounting experience
  • 5+ years leading an accounting department
  • Prior foundation in public accounting preferred
  • Background in utilities, energy service or related industry highly desired
Skills
  • Problem solver-works to find a solution
  • ERP system experience
  • Someone who enjoys collaborating with FP&A-dig deeper with data
  • Someone that enjoys being a working manager and isn t afraid to roll up their sleeves
  • $150,000-$195,000
