Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the organization’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This role plays a key part in the month-end close process, financial analysis, and process improvement initiatives while partnering with cross-functional teams.

• Lead and support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide insights to management
• Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial statements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with FP&A
• Participate in audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience (public accounting and/or industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting processes
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills and ability to partner with non-accounting stakeholders

• CPA or CPA-eligible
• Experience in public accounting (Big 4 or mid‑tier a plus)
• Exposure to areas such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, or inventory
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) and reporting tools
