Pay Rate: $25-$30/hr

OverviewWe are seeking an AP Coordinator to support a growing accounting team in a fast-paced environment. This role will focus primarily on high-volume accounts payable processing while also assisting with billing, reconciliations, and other accounting support functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with multiple systems, and able to manage a significant amount of transaction processing with accuracy.
Responsibilities- Process high-volume vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and timely entry into the system
- Perform 2-way and 3-way matching and assist with posting transactions accurately
- Manage vendor accounts, including statement reconciliations and discrepancy resolution
- Process vendor remittances and support payment activities
- Assist with customer invoicing and basic accounts receivable support as needed
- Monitor shared accounting email inboxes and respond to inquiries or route issues appropriately
- Review reports and workflows to identify and resolve processing issues
- Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation
- Assist with reconciliations, month-end tasks, and other accounting projects as assigned
- Support process improvement initiatives and workflow enhancements
- 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting support experience
- Experience with high-volume invoice processing and purchase order matching
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and account coding
- Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to changing processes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- Experience with ERP systems or accounting software preferred
