Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Larkin Hoffman is seeking a full‑time (37.5 hours per week) Legal Administrative Support Specialist. The role involves performing common administrative tasks across all practice areas, such as scanning, compiling, and assembling electronic and physical binders; preparing and submitting expense reports using expense report software; and coordinating and collaborating on special projects.
This position also provides back‑up to the Office Services and Hospitality Team, covering the reception desk, handling document production, editing, and manipulation, and working as a team member with support staff to achieve efficient operations.
Candidates should have at least 1 year of administrative support experience. Prior law‑firm experience is preferred. Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, highly organized, with superior grammar and proofreading skills, and detail oriented. Familiarity with legal terminology, Net Documents, or other document management systems is preferred.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, practice support specialists, and legal administrative assistants.
- Prepare and process timesheets, expense reports, client disbursements, client bills, and other billing responsibilities as directed.
- Maintain and organize client files in Net Documents according to firm guidelines, or in paper files as needed.
- Assist with special projects and cooperate as a team member with other support staff teams by accepting and completing tasks in addition to assigned duties, performing any essential duty for efficient operations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to monitor own work and the work of others for accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and client service, including clear communication of changes and progress.
- Knowledge of networks, shared storage, telecommunications, hardware, platforms, operating systems, and various software applications.
- Ability to collect, research, and synthesize data.
- Follows instructions, responds to management direction, adheres to firm policies and procedures, and supports firm goals and values.

- Legal Administrative certification OR related college degree with 1+ years of law‑firm experience OR equivalent combination of education and/or related experience.

The starting compensation range for this position is $53,000 to $58,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications, and skill set.
