About our group:
Indirect Materials Procurement is responsible for the procurement of indirect material including but not limited to spare parts, production supply, packaging, facility supplies, tooling / fabrication, services for the factory. This role involves budget planning, supplier management, and inventory control to support the operational needs.
About the role - you will:- Review and analyze purchase requisitions
- Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, facility, engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner
- Process RFQ, Purchase Requisition s, Purchase Orders and change requests if any
- Be responsible for procurement of business system data input and integrity
- Participate in maximizing the procurement teams changes, supplier database information, error report analysis and supplier information
- Perform cost analysis and work with requesters for volume planning for major commodities (e.g. materials, components, equipment and services)
- Monitor the cost, schedule and scope of assigned suppliers to negotiate highest quality at best value
- Interact closely with internal stakeholders & suppliers of any quality concerns related to resolve quality issues
- Escalate critical issues to the relevant stakeholders and superiors
- Critical thinking skills

- Excellent negotiating skills to secure the best prices
- Purchasing and supplier management skills
- Excellent computer skills (SAP ERP, Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint) are a must
- Excellent data analytic and data science skills (Excel, Knime, Alteryx, Power BI, Python) is preferable
- Bachelor s degree and/or related experience
Salary: The estimated base salary range for this position is $65,400.00 - $93,500.00. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
