Job Summary & Responsibilities Position Summary The Summer Purchasing Intern will support the Purchasing/Procurement team with daily operations while gaining hands-on experience in supply chain, vendor coordination, and purchasing processes. This role is designed for a motivated student interested in procurement, supply chain management, business operations, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities Assisting in purchasing activities

Champion the MRB process for BLM (Key project)
Help with expediting material for tool builds.

Help with confirmations

Help with any other projects within purchasing department

Learning Objectives Gain exposure to end-to-end purchasing and procurement processes

Understand supplier management and cost control practices

Develop professional communication and organizational skills

Learn how procurement supports overall business operations

Qualifications Qualifications Currently  pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations, or a related field

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is a plus (Oracle)
Ability to analyze basic data and maintain accurate records

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Coursework or interest in purchasing, supply chain, or operations

Experience working with spreadsheets or basic reporting tools

Customer service or administrative experience
