Business Development, Client Relationship Manager
As an Account Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of current and future corporate travel accounts that are assigned. This includes client retention, contract negotiation, implementation and business consolidation, sales of products and services, financials (budgets, billing, payment and profitability), business planning and reviews, establishing relationships with key decision makers, business continuance and escalation of travel operations.

Location: The primary location of the Account Manager position is in Travel One’s headquarters location. Applicants should be within reasonable commuting distance of Bloomington, MN.
Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesAs an Account Manager for Travel One customers with U.S. and global corporate travel programs, you will be expected to:
- Own overall service delivery strategy, working with our Operations team.
- Coordinate all communications to support customer program initiatives.
- Own responsibility for relationship with customer.
- Drive client satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct account reviews.
- Consult with clients to develop policies and programs that fit their corporate travel program needs and budget goals.
- Identify cost saving opportunities and present to clients.
- Assist clients with negotiation of vendor contracts – air, car, hotel.
- Support client supplier agreements.
- Support client’s growth and expansion strategies.
- Cultivate multi-level relationships within companies with the assistance of our key contacts.
- Oversee the onboarding and implementation for corporate travel customers, working closely with internal and external implementation teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Exhibit knowledge of online booking tools and ability to provide demonstrations to clients.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Corporate travel management experience in account management is preferred
- Extensive knowledge of current travel industry operations and technology
- Effective communication skills: oral, written and presentation
- Effective negotiation skills and decision making, problem solving skills with experience working on air, car and hotel
- Excellent rapport building abilities, professional presentation skills, an engaging communicator
Position Status: Full time, salaried, non-exempt
