Position Overview:

The Director, Equipment Sales & Services is responsible for driving revenue growth, customer development, and operational excellence within AEG's Equipment Leasing & Services business. This role serves as a key leader focused on identifying new business opportunities, expanding customer relationships, managing equipment leasing and service offerings, and ensuring efficient day to day operations.

The Director will work closely with customers, vendors, operations teams, and internal stakeholders to maximize equipment utilization, enhance service delivery, and support the continued growth of the business. This position requires a strong combination of sales leadership, operational management, customer relationship management, and business development expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Equipment Leasing & Services business, assets, ensuring efficient execution of leasing, maintenance, service, and other operational activities.
  • Drive revenue growth and business development efforts for AEG's Equipment Leasing & Services business by identifying new opportunities, expanding customer relationships, and developing strategic partnerships.
  • Manage customer accounts and serve as a primary point of contact to ensure exceptional service delivery, customer satisfaction, and long term business retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize equipment utilization, service performance, and overall operational effectiveness.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and proposal development to support business growth objectives.
  • Monitor business performance, equipment utilization, revenue generation, and customer service metrics, providing recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives for the Equipment Leasing & Services business.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, operational enhancements, and best practices to support scalability and continued growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, contractual obligations, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present business updates, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Travel as necessary to support customer relationships, business development activities, operational oversight, and industry events
Required

Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, Operations Management, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 15-20 years of experience in equipment leasing, equipment sales, aviation services, operations management, business development, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated success driving sales growth and managing customer relationships.
  • Experience overseeing operational processes and service delivery.
  • Aviation, ground support equipment, transportation, logistics, or industrial equipment experience preferred.
  • Strong business development and sales management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.
