Join the Customer Solutions Core Regions Division and help shape solutions that solve customer challenges beyond machines and parts. Working alongside dealers and internal partners, this team creates customized, value-driven solutions across products and services, digital and technology, rental and used equipment, and financing. With a strong regional focus, the division is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of customers in the Midwest, United States.
WhatYou Will Do (Job Duties)
- Partner closely with end-user customers to understand their toughest challenges and develop tailored solutions that deliver results.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to strengthen customer loyalty and create an exceptional customer experience.
- Develop, manage, and deliver annual business plans that drive growth across the assigned region.
- Work closely with assigned dealers to execute a strong sales and order planning process that supports revenue growth and market success.
- Manage budgets effectively to meet district and regional performance targets.
Customer Focus: Builds strong customer relationships by proactively understanding needs, aligning solutions to business goals, and delivering a high level of service. Uses customer feedback and insights to improve outcomes, strengthen satisfaction, and create tailored solutions.
Industry Knowledge: Applies strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory considerations to support sound business decisions and customer solutions. Stays current on products, services, and competitive developments to identify opportunities and deliver value in a changing market.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Uses sound judgment, data, and critical thinking to evaluate complex situations, identify priorities, and make informed business decisions. Assesses risks, weighs alternatives, and recommends practical solutions that support strong outcomes.
Effective Communications: Communicates clearly and professionally across a range of audiences, adapting style and message to fit the situation. Builds understanding through strong listening, thoughtful feedback, and concise written and verbal communication.
Relationship Management: Builds and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with customers, dealers, and internal partners to support shared goals. Responds with urgency, strengthens trust, and works through challenges to deliver positive business results.
Business Development: Identifies market opportunities, customer needs, and growth areas to help expand business and strengthen competitive position. Applies business insight and market awareness to support strategic growth initiatives.
Value Selling: Demonstrates the ability to articulate product and service value in terms that matter most to the customer. Connects customer needs to tailored solutions, quantifies business impact, and differentiates offerings through clear value-based messaging.
Top Candidates Will Have- A four-year degree in business administration, management, engineering, marketing, industry technologies, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience, with a strong track record of supporting customer solutions, sales growth, or business development initiatives.
- Experience working directly with customers to understand needs, build trusted relationships, and deliver value-driven solutions.
- Preferred work locations include the greater Kansas City metro area or Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- This role requires up to 50% domestic travel.
