Member Experience Officer (MXO)

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000

Position Summary:

The Member Experience Officer (MXO) plays a critical frontline role in strengthening relationships between Bank In Minnesota and our member banks and associate members. This position is responsible for engaging directly with bankers, understanding their needs and challenges, and translating that feedback into actionable insights that enhance member engagement, programming, and overall value.

• Member Engagement & Relationship Management:
  Build strong relationships with bankers across Minnesota through regular outreach and in-person engagement to understand their needs and challenges.
• Member Engagement & Relationship Management:
  Serve as a trusted point of contact for member banks.
• Member Engagement & Relationship Management:
  Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from member interactions to identify trends and communicate insights to Bank In Minnesota staff.
• Member Engagement & Relationship Management:
  Lead the onboarding of new member banks and drive ongoing engagement throughout the membership lifecycle.
• Associate Member Management:
  Manage and maintain relationships with associate members, including vendors, while supporting business development and partnership growth.
• Associate Member Management:
  Drive associate member participation in events and sponsor ships through outreach, coordination, and relationship management.
• Associate Member Management:
  Connect associate members with Bank In Minnesota staff to advance communication, resources, and engagement opportunities.
• Events & Programs:
  Actively engage in Bank In Minnesota events, conferences, and meetings by assisting with event delivery, connecting with members, and supporting a high-quality experience.
• Events & Programs:
  Support event engagement initiatives and post-event follow-up with attendees and partners.
• Events & Programs:
  Play an active role in advancing ongoing initiatives with the Education & Events Team.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in relationship management, member services, or business development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a member-first, growth-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel statewide for member engagement and events.
• Familiarity with community banking or member-based organizations is a plus.
