Lead Preschool 3 Teacher with Crystal’s Cuddle Bugs Childcare Program

Are you a passionate and experienced early childhood educator looking for an opportunity to lead and inspire young minds? Crystal's Cuddle Bugs Childcare Program is seeking dedicated individuals with a strong background in early childhood education to join our team as a Lead Preschool 3 Teacher.

As a Lead Preschool 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children, guiding and mentoring other staff members, and fostering a love of learning in our students.

• Classroom Leadership:
  Lead and manage a classroom of young learners ages 4-5, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment.
• Curriculum Development:
  Develop and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans and activities that align with our curriculum goals and encourage children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Supervision and Mentoring:
  Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers and aides, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Child Assessment:
  Observe and assess children’s progress, identifying individual needs and developing strategies to support their growth.
• Parent Communication:
  Establish strong partnerships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child’s progress and classroom activities.

  Work collaboratively with other lead teachers and center administrators to ensure the smooth operation of the childcare program.
• Classroom Management:
  Implement effective classroom management techniques, promoting positive behavior and conflict resolution.
• Safety and Compliance:
  Adhere to all safety regulations and licensing requirements, maintaining a clean and secure environment for the children.

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Associate’s degree or 28 credits in early childhood education or relevant fields (art, psychology, sociology, teaching, etc.) will also be considered.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential accepted in lieu of formal education.
• 2 years of experience in an early childhood education setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of child development theories, early childhood education principles, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, parents, and staff.
• Passionate about early childhood education and committed to the growth and development of young learners.
• Ability to motivate and inspire both staff and students to reach their full potential.

• Compensation ranges from $18.85/hour to $22.56/hour, commensurate with experience. New external hires can expect a starting pay within $18.85 to $20.65/hour.
• Work schedule options: 5‑day 8‑hour week or 4‑day 10‑hour week. Full‑time (40 hours weekly) required. Flexible hours available.
