The United South Central District is looking for a Part-Time 0.6 FTE elementary teacher to join our student-centered staff at USC Public Schools for the school year.
The USC district serves 740 students in South Central Minnesota. Our PreK-12 building provides an intimate and student-focused approach to educating each of our students. The staff at USC works collaboratively to provide the best educational experience each day, and we are looking for an individual who can help deliver a cohesive overall educational experience for our student body.
Qualifications- Minnesota Teaching License
- Verbal and written communication, management, organizational, and student supervision skills
- Effectively use current technology tools to enhance personal productivity
- Previous experience working with students is preferred, but not required, for applicants
- High-Quality Teacher Mentoring: Ongoing support through a formal mentorship process and scholarly professional learning opportunities.
- New Teacher Onboarding: Two days of training and induction for new teachers at USC.
- Professional Development: USC strives to provide numerous opportunities (at no cost) for ongoing professional development and licensure.
- LETRS Training:
- Teacher Development and Evaluation: USC uses the Marzano Art and Science of Teaching model to promote growth through evaluation.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary Range $31,275- $50,682 (as set by the USC EA Master Agreement)
