Academic Salary Range: $43,067 - $98,660.

Duties
  • Instructional planning, facilitation, teaching and learning
  • Assessment of student performance
  • Student recruitment, retention and advising
  • Lab/classroom climate management
  • Maintenance of professional skills and credentials
  • Participation in college activities
  • Work closely with department to maintain and enhance curriculum and assess program outcomes
Qualifications
  • Master's degree with a major in human services, social work, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, school psychology, or human development OR Master's degree with a minimum of 16 graduate semester credits in human services, social work, clinical psychology, or counseling psychology OR Master's degree with a major in sociology or counseling with 10 graduate semester credits in human services.
  • Two full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in human services, social work, clinical psychology, or counseling psychology.
  • One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application; the requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time post‑secondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
  • Preferred qualifications include familiarity with and commitment to the mission and constituencies of a comprehensive community and technical college; dedication to teaching and student learning providing quality education emphasizing college level standards; commitment to studying, analyzing, and implementing learning strategies that help students reach their education goals; experience using teaching techniques that support diverse learning styles; excellent interpersonal and team building skills;

    knowledge and experience in the use of instructional technology, including online course delivery and classroom presentation technologies; ability to work independently while also functioning in a team atmosphere.
