Special Education Teachers Needed in Falcon Heights, MN - 24/25 SY
Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Full-Time Special Education Teachers (x3)
Positions Available: 2 Full-Time Special Education Teachers
Hours: 40 hours per week
Autism Center-Based Positions:
- Classroom Setup: Up to 8 students per classroom with 3 paraprofessionals assisting
- Model: Center-based, providing specialized support and intervention
Position:
- Grade Levels: 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade
- Classroom Model: Resource Room (FED 1 and
2) - Caseload: 16 to 18 students
- Start Date: August 26, 2024 (Students begin September 3, 2024)
- End Date: June 11, 2025
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to individual student needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers and paraprofessionals
- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Certification
- Experience with autism and resource room models preferred
