Student - Methods TA Fall

Hours:

• Approximately 6 hours per week
• Labs – Thursday 8:30 a.m.
  
  - 9:50 a.m., 10:30 a.m.
  
  - 11:50 a.m., 1:00 p.m.
  
  - 2:50 p.m.

Duties:

• Assist T3 students within the lab as they learn both interpretation of palpation findings and adjusting technique for the thoracic and cervical spine
• Assess adjustment skills of students during lab on Microsoft Forms
• Provide feedback on palpation and adjusting performance
• Assist during competency evaluations and practical exams
• Practice all lab protocols for sanitization and protection
• Clean and organize lab after lab sessions

Requirements

• A current student in the College of Chiropractic at NWHSU in good academic standing
• Successful completion of Chiropractic Methods 1-3
• T4 or higher tri-level student
• Must be able to commit to a full 1.5-hour lab session
• Must be available Weeks 6, 9, and 12 for competency evaluations
• Able to convey clear and accurate explanations to students
• Must be available for at least 1 hour during the scheduled practical exam at the end of the trimester
