Position: Special Education Teacher- STRIVE

Location: Poplar Bridge Elementary

Effective Date: August 24, 2026

Hours: 1.0 FTE

Pay: See Teacher Contract

Required Licensure: Current MN Teaching Licensure: DCD or ABS K-12

Required Experience:

• Experience with at-risk school age youth
• Ability to work successfully with students and adults of various economic, racial, and cultural backgrounds
• Knowledge of social education procedures

• Work with student individually and in groups
• Assist with collaboration among teachers, students, families and community to meet education needs
• Provide case management services
• Conduct assessments
