Description
ISG is hiring a Civil Construction Engineer to join our Transportation and Public Works teams to enhance our expanding construction inspection, management, and administration services.

Location: Bloomington, MN
Compensation: $20.00 - $50.00 / hour
Essential Duties- Management of MnDOT, County, and City transportation construction projects
- Conduct professional meetings including pre‑construction, public information, and weekly construction meetings
- Perform civil engineering calculations; prepare engineering plans, designs, and reports and conduct construction oversight including inspection when needed
- Serve as a liaison with clients, government and regulatory authorities, and contractors
- Deliver project documents within prescribed budgetary and time constraints while satisfying client requirements
- Develop and enhance client relationships and business growth
- Prioritize overall project management and ensure successful project delivery
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to project team members including other engineers and technical support staff
- Assist with functional and detailed design of transportation and municipal infrastructure projects when in the office
- Contract administration of municipal projects
- Other duties as assigned
We’re seeking a construction professional with a strong foundation in public infrastructure administration. Experience with WisDOT standards and Civil 3D is a plus, but not required. What matters most is your technical proficiency, problem‑solving ability, and collaborative mindset.
Whether you have a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience, you should be comfortable leading projects independently and contributing to team growth. A proven track record and solid references are essential.
This field‑based role involves travel to job sites. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
