Industrial Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Lead the Industrial Engineering team and oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and systems for a growing semiconductor organization. Focus on driving productivity, reducing costs, ensuring quality and safety, and managing projects to completion.

• Departmental Leadership
  • Set goals, prioritize projects, resolve issues, and communicate performance expectations.
  • Select, develop, and manage industrial engineering staff.
• Data & Bottleneck Management
  • Manage MES data, including runcards, operations, tooling, recipes, data collection, and operating instructions.
  • Identify and optimize critical constraints to enhance OEE and throughput.
• Capacity Modeling
  • Develop and maintain models forecasting manufacturing resource levels.
  • Generate short‑term and long‑term scenarios, prioritize actions, and track progress.
• Manufacturing Layout
  • Support the design and development of cleanroom layouts for optimal space, logistics, and workflow.
• Reporting
  • Establish key metrics and reporting mechanisms to communicate performance and identify constraints.
• Production Scheduling
  • Monitor and optimize dispatch algorithms to improve resource allocation, line balancing, and on‑time delivery.
  • Knowledge of FPS scheduler is beneficial.
• Professional Development
  • Stay updated on industrial engineering processes and assess their applicability.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and implement Smart Manufacturing strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce speed or throughput losses and collaborate with owners to optimize.
• Other Duties
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support departmental and organizational goals.

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
• 5‑10+ years of experience in an industrial engineering role.
• 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Knowledge of SQL or other computer languages for data mining.
• Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements and achieving efficiency gains.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Requires wearing a clean room suit when working in the manufacturing facility.
• Position may require U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency in the future.

Salary: $128,000–$170,000 (base). Compensation is based on education, experience, skills, and level.
