Locations: Green Bay, WI | Minneapolis, MN | Duluth, MN | Madison, WI

We are seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Lead Hydrogeologist who is looking for new learning experiences, opportunities for career growth, and the ability to make a meaningful impact on complex environmental and water resource projects

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical execution of hydrogeologic project work
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project scopes, cost estimates, and technical strategies
  • Develop technical approaches for regional hydrologic characterization of groundwater systems in unconsolidated deposits and fractured crystalline rock environments
  • Provide leadership on complex, multi-disciplinary projects, including oversight of project scope, schedule, budgets, regulatory requirements, and contractual commitments
  • Develop and implement groundwater and surface water modeling approaches to support permitting, industrial development, and site remediation efforts
  • Coordinate and execute field characterization programs, including aquifer testing, hydro physical profiling, and groundwater investigation
  • Mentor and support junior staff while serving as a technical resource in hydrogeology
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology, Engineering, Geology, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience conducting hydrogeological investigations
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on field experience
  • Experience leading field characterization programs, including aquifer testing, groundwater modeling, and numerical analysis
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects involving budgets, schedules, regulatory compliance, and technical consultation
  • Experience integrating hydrogeologic investigations and numerical analyses into feasibility studies and alternatives analysis
  • Previous experience providing expert witness testimony at environmental hearings is preferred
