We are seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Lead Hydrogeologist who is looking for new learning experiences, opportunities for career growth, and the ability to make a meaningful impact on complex environmental and water resource projects
Primary Responsibilities- Lead the technical execution of hydrogeologic project work
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project scopes, cost estimates, and technical strategies
- Develop technical approaches for regional hydrologic characterization of groundwater systems in unconsolidated deposits and fractured crystalline rock environments
- Provide leadership on complex, multi-disciplinary projects, including oversight of project scope, schedule, budgets, regulatory requirements, and contractual commitments
- Develop and implement groundwater and surface water modeling approaches to support permitting, industrial development, and site remediation efforts
- Coordinate and execute field characterization programs, including aquifer testing, hydro physical profiling, and groundwater investigation
- Mentor and support junior staff while serving as a technical resource in hydrogeology
- Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology, Engineering, Geology, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience conducting hydrogeological investigations
- Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on field experience
- Experience leading field characterization programs, including aquifer testing, groundwater modeling, and numerical analysis
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects involving budgets, schedules, regulatory compliance, and technical consultation
- Experience integrating hydrogeologic investigations and numerical analyses into feasibility studies and alternatives analysis
- Previous experience providing expert witness testimony at environmental hearings is preferred
- Strong technical leadership and communication skills
- Experience working with groundwater and surface water systems in complex geologic settings
- Ability to mentor technical teams and collaborate across disciplines
- Strong problem-solving and project management capabilities
