We are seeking a Drafter to join our team in Bloomington. As a Drafter you will create and/or maintain engineering documentation using CAD software. Engineering documentation includes individual component part models, assemblies, subassemblies, and their respective drawings.

Modify detailed drawings of component parts and subassemblies. ##
** What Will You Do?
** In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:  
* Learn and process engineering change requests utilizing engineering sketches and annotated drawings.
* Specify and document dimensions, materials, and procedures.
* Document parts by modeling simple 3D models, adding coordinate systems, and create detail drawings for manufacturing.
* Create SAP Bill of Material reports
* Participate in quality initiatives and training as required.

** What Do You Need?
** To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:  
* Associate degree in  Mechanical or Electrical Drafting, Drafting Design, Electronics and Electrical/Mechanical Technology required.
* Bachelor’s Degree with engineering technology related disciplines preferred.
* Drafter I: 0-2 years of experience with associate’s degree
* Drafter II:  2+ years of experience with associate’s otherwise four (4) plus years related experience.
* Basic understanding of industry drafting standards (ANSI)
* Responsible for adhering to product Drafting Standards and Procedures
* Understand the application of basic Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
* Experience with CAD software preferred.
* Ability to technically communicate with Designers and Engineers. ###
** WORK ENVIRONMENT
*** Primarily office-based with regular interaction in a shop/lab environment supporting equipment diagnostics and validation.
* Exposure to mechanical and electrical equipment, including moving machinery and powered vehicles.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Fast-paced environment with competing priorities, high customer interaction, and occasional escalations.
* Minimal travel may be required (training or field support).
* Standard work schedule may include extended hours, or overtime based on customer demand.
* Frequent use of computer systems.## ##
