- Direct and coordinate the work of single or multi‑discipline teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Take responsibility for any project assignment regardless of size, visibility, number of disciplines, technical complexity, or number of staff.
- Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders.
- Ensure completion of deliverables on schedule.
- Track project financial aspects and coordinate and adjust work effort with the team to keep work within the agreed‑to budget and schedule.
- Supervise project staff and act as mentor for less‑experienced Project Managers.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- 20 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- 10 years experience with FTA and related U.S. noise and vibration assessment methods.
- Proficiency with current environmental noise guidance documents for acoustical analyses (FHWA, FTA, FRA, STB, etc.).
- Be a technical expert with recognized authority in an area of specialization, able to resolve problems of greater scope and complexity and lead acoustical and vibration assessments.
- Develop projects or design activities that have significant impact on major company programs.
- Focus on tasks including rail noise and vibration, environmental noise, roadway noise, and construction‑related analyses.
- Use state‑of‑the‑art instruments to measure noise and vibrations and to process and analyze that data.
- Perform other related duties as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 15 years of related experience.
- A minimum of 7 years project management experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management software.
- Ability to interact with various design teams, with excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
- Commitment to being an active participant in an employee‑owned culture.
