Responsibilities:
  • Create, carry out, and refine environmental compliance programs to align with federal, state, and local requirements

  • Manage air, water, stormwater, natural resource permits, and spill prevention programs, including inspections and reporting

  • Lead hazardous waste compliance activities including inspections, shipments, and program oversight

  • Conduct environmental audits, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions aligned with ISO
    14001

  • Support construction projects and contractors to ensure environmental requirements are met

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field

  • 1–3 years of experience coordinating environmental compliance programs

  • Working knowledge of CWA, CAA, RCRA, CERCLA, and ISO
    14001

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

  • Good understanding of Agentic AI or willingness to learn Agentic AI to help developed efficient workflow.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading small teams or cross‑functional projects

  • Experience supporting regulatory inspections and external audits

  • Background in both construction and operational environmental compliance

  • Experience with New York State environmental permits and regulations

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full‑time position is:

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job‑related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
