Position: SLOT TECHNICIAN II Seven Clans Casino Warroad

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Slot Supervisor and/or Slot Manager, the Slot Tech II is responsible for maintaining, installing, converting, moving and configuring slot machines.

Responsibilities
  • Performs Installation, configuration, diagnostic testing, and final testing of all slot machines and associated equipment, in accordance with the manufactures Operation and Service Guide, and department policies and procedures.
  • Removes, converts, moves, installs and/or upgrades slot machines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair money kiosk machines.
  • Operate hand tools, soldering equipment, electrical test equipment and other equipment as needed. Maintain proper documentation of repair logs and out of service logs.
  • Perform slot machine RAM clears/key chip and set-up of options as needed.
  • Must have general knowledge of how to set options on all types of slot machines.
  • Must also have general knowledge of required options on all slot machines.
  • Responsible for testing, troubleshooting, parts replacement and preventative maintenance of all slot machines on the casino floor.
  • Completes all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legibly.
  • Verifies that all slot games communicate accurately with internal systems for accounting purposes; researches and resolves issues that arise.
  • Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of slot player-tracking system.
  • Performs slot machine verification, audits, and tests as needed by RLGC, State Inspectors and Internal and External Auditors.
  • Assists, mentors, and trains Slot Tech I.
  • Responsible for maintenance and repair of small electronic parts that need to be disassembled and repaired. Exp. Power supplies monitor.
  • Responsible for the RMA procedure on warranty parts. Including shipping and receiving of the parts.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date machine files, ensuring proper paperwork is completed and filed in accordance with internal control standards.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age with High School or GED.
