Position Overview

Café Ambassador – Mall of America The Experience. As a Café Ambassador, you’ll be the face of Capital One to café guests and customers, introducing them to our best‑in‑class services, creating memorable experiences, and driving brand awareness. This role is focused on delivering excellent customer service, building connections, and promoting financial literacy within the community.

• Bring the Café experience and our brand to life by creating an inclusive environment where all customers and team members feel welcome.
• Proactively engage with customers and the community in all areas of the Café, assisting with tech challenges, showcasing services and products, and discussing customers’ financial journeys.
• Guide customers through goal setting by meeting them where they are and advocating for better financial literacy through discovery and Capital One resources.
• Collaborate with an energized team of Ambassadors to inspire teammates and support one another.
• Stay curious, adaptable, and committed to learning and growing through self‑development.
• Continuously learn new digital and technical skills.
• Partner with local businesses, nonprofits, charities, and the Engagement team to plan events inside and outside of the Café.
• Volunteer within the community and serve as an advocate for financial literacy.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least one year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience.

• Associate’s degree.
• Two or more years of Retail or customer‑facing experience.
• Proficiency in G‑Suite.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
