Collateral Analyst

Summary

SPECTRUM Commercial Finance, an asset based lending and accounts receivable financing company, is seeking a Collateral Analyst for our Asset Based Lending division.

SPECTRUM is headquartered in Bloomington, MN and specializes in providing financing to financially challenged businesses nationwide. We are in the office 5 days a week and do provide on the job training for all duties listed below.

• Assisting in the maintenance, monitoring, and management of the asset based lending portfolio, this includes:
• Processing and monitoring client’s daily collateral and loan activities.
• Reviewing and processing client’s monthly resets.
• Handling client’s daily loan advance requests.
• Analyzing client reports.
• Tracking, monitoring and enforcing client reporting.
• Troubleshooting and resolving client issues with management as needed.
• Assisting in new client searches and onboarding (including training and follow-up on certain documentation).
• Assisting in additional administrative tasks associated with this position, this includes:
• Handling daily banking activity.
• Processing lockbox from time to time.
• Managing UCC filing and upkeep along with other client searches.
• Assist in client document and certificate follow-up tracking (Tickler List management).
• Assisting in continual development of monitoring procedures and company operations.
• Handling special projects as assigned by management.
• Assisting in various administrative duties.

• Two year Accounting, Finance, or other Business degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary.
• Must be detail-oriented and organized with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is required.
• Must be a self‑starter, possess strong decision‑making skills, and take ownership of various processes.

• Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret documents if required to perform the essential job functions.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
• Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
