Financial Analyst

Health Partners is expanding our Finance Department and is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support our Health Plan. This role has responsibility for Health Partners financial analysis, reporting systems, accounting, and budgeting efforts. Develops, maintains and analyzes financial models.

• Productively work with all levels of management; support and assist leaders, other team members, and other areas of Health Partners.
• Enhance processes and procedures to facilitate accurate and timely financial and managerial reporting and financial analysis.
• Maintain, develop, and support financial and managerial reporting.
• Assist leaders with operating and financial analysis efforts.
• Supports financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Participate in special projects or studies as directed.
• Assist with the monthly close process.
• Support purchasing contracts.
• Support RFP responses.

• BA/BS in finance, accounting, or business related field.
• 1 year experience in finance, accounting, and/or business related field.
• Strong spreadsheet and computer skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff.

• Experience in the health care industry.
• Experience with budgeting/forecasting.
