Triple Tree – Investment Banking Associate | Capital One

This is a full‑time Investment Banking Associate role at Capital One, located in Bloomington, MN or New York, NY.     Perform critical functions throughout the entire transaction process, from preparing clients for market and engaging buyers to facilitating due diligence and closing deals.
What You’ll Actually Do
  • Financial Analysis:
    Prepare, analyze, and explain historical and projected financial information.
  • Valuation & Modeling:
    Manage and assist in the preparation of financial models and business valuations.
  • Due Diligence:
    Conduct industry and company‑specific business due diligence.
  • Client Deliverables:
    Create client marketing presentations, memoranda, and other deliverables while drafting pitch presentations.
  • Relationship Management:
    Assist in developing and cultivating client, prospective client, and professional advisor relationships, and attend client meetings.
The Must‑Haves
  • Background:
    Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience with a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions for a mid‑senior level career.
  • Experience:

    At least 3 years of investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory experience.
  • Skills:

    Strong analytical and quantitative skills; financial modeling expertise; understanding of general accounting and finance principles; effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Bonus:
    Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics; at least 4 years of M&A investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory experience within the healthcare space; at least 2 years of sell‑side M&A experience; experience building detailed operating models; FINRA Series 63, Series 79, and SIE licenses.
