Police Officer
The Inver Grove Heights Police Department is accepting applications to build a list of citizens interested in becoming a Police Reserve. The Police Reserve is a non-paid, volunteer position.
The reserve unit is comprised of local citizens who are dedicated to their community and its safety. They assist the community by providing reliable personnel to the police department.
The reserves are a large part of the “community policing” concept. They often assist with local events, emergencies, natural disasters and special assignments.
Reserves are individuals who have an interest in law enforcement or are pursuing a law enforcement career. They want to give back, and be a part of, the community through active service. They help to contribute to the safety and security of our community.
