Surgical Technologist - Orthopedic Surgery Center; casual

Job Description

TRIA is looking to hire a Surgical Technologist to join our surgery center team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

The Surgical Technologist practices under the direction of a Registered Nurse in an autonomous and collegial manner, integrating critical thinking skills, commitment, creativity and caring.

Casual position, must work a minimum of 2 shifts a month – M-F rotating start times 6am-9am. Stay at end of day until cases are done.

• Must be certified through one of the following Surgical Technologist Programs: CST ( (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). ) or NCCT (  ) at time of hire or obtain the certification within 12 months of hire.

• Currently validated CPR skills preferred
• Practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment of orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique and sterilization methods.
• Demonstrated knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
