Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Bloomington, MN, for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). The BCBA will lead the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans to support children with autism and related developmental disorders. Responsibilities include supervising ABA therapy sessions, conducting assessments, implementing behavior management strategies, providing parent training, and collaborating with therapists and families to ensure optimal outcomes.
The BCBA will also monitor client progress and train staff to maintain high-quality services.
- Strong expertise in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
- Proficiency in Parent Education and training to engage families in the therapeutic process
- Knowledge in Psychology and child development to support effective therapy planning
- Skilled in developing and implementing Behavior Management strategies for children with autism
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field
- BCBA and LBA certification in good standing
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in working with children with autism spectrum disorder is highly beneficial
- Serve as the clinical authority for ABA services, with full accountability for clinical quality, ethical practice, and regulatory compliance.
- Complete, review, and approve all treatment plans, updates, and clinical documentation with accuracy, internal consistency, and payer‑specific requirements.
- Ensure all services are clinically justified, properly authorized, and compliant prior to service delivery. Services may not begin or continue without valid authorization.
- Maintain strict documentation standards, including correct signatures, dates, service alignment, and medical necessity language.
- Provide direct clinical supervision to behavior therapists and other clinical staff in accordance with state, payer, and ethical guidelines.
- Train, mentor, and correct staff to ensure consistent clinical implementation and documentation quality.
- Identify clinical risks, gaps, or system breakdowns early and address them proactively.
- Collaborate with operations and administration while maintaining clear clinical boundaries and ownership of clinical decisions.
- Participate in audits, payer reviews, and compliance activities as required. Clinical errors are addressed directly and corrected promptly.
- Uphold professional standards without deflecting responsibility or shifting accountability to administrative staff.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical systems, templates, and workflows suitable for a growing organization.
- Maintain active licensure and credentials and meet all continuing education and supervision requirements.
