Resident Assistant

We are looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide who would provide personal care to improve and/or maintain the senior age residents’ physical and emotional well‑being for our assisted living Meadow Woods in Bloomington, MN. CNA is not required, unless the candidate is under 18 years old. This role is provided training to pass medications.

• Flexible schedule
• All shifts
• Minimum of 3 shifts a month, including 1 weekend shift

Meeade Woods Assisted Living is part of the Martin Luther Campus Senior Community and is located in East Bloomington, MN near public transportation. Our 113‑unit assisted, independent and memory care buildings encourage participation in regularly scheduled activities and lifelong learning programs.

• Assists residents with personal cares including bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
• Under the direction of a nurse, provides health‑related services such as passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperature, blood pressure, and pulse checks.
• May perform duties that include laundry, cleaning, meal service and assisting with activities.
• Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff.
• Assists with onboarding of new staff.

• Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.
• Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population.
• CNA certificated if under 18.

• High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course.
