Are you a licensed Mental Health Professional who likes variety? Are you comfortable moving from program to program? If so, this opportunity may be for you! The Float Professional will work in various programs and provide support, rehabilitation, and treatment to individuals served.
Salary Range: $81,765- $86,558

Schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 9 am – 5 pm, 40 hours per week

- Crisis Stabilization Program
- Provide direct clinical services across assigned program areas in accordance with program framework, organizational policies and procedures
- Deliver culturally responsive, trauma‑informed and person‑centered care that promotes dignity and respect
- Assess and treat individuals diagnosed with co‑occurring mental illness and substance abuse disorders using evidence based practices
- Establish and maintain therapeutic rapport to support engagement in services.
- Conduct mental health assessment, including diagnosis and development of individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical standards and organizational policies
- Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy to adults and adolescents
- Educate individuals and families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available treatment options
- Deliver psychiatric rehabilitation services that support recovery and independent functioning.
- Apply harm reduction principles and evidence‑based substance use disorder interventions
- Conduct crisis assessment and intervention, including safety planning and risk assessment; facilitate referrals to a higher level of care when clinically indicated.
- Make appropriate culturally sensitive referrals and support individuals in accessing needed services and resources
- Partner with program leadership to provide clinical consultation, guidance and skill development to team members.
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, primary care providers, case managers, and interdisciplinary care team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Foster collaborative relationships with client family members and significant others, while partnering with providers and stakeholders across the homeless service systems
- Attend commitment court and other legal proceedings as required; complete all associated documentation and court reports.
- Support individuals in navigating and maintaining access to financial benefits, health care coverage and community resources.
- Assist with transportation as needed to support access to essential services and progress towards treatment goals.
- Provide and participate in clinical consultation to Mental Health Practitioners and other professionals
- Provide co‑leadership to teams as assigned, including facilitating team meetings, clinical consultation, review and approve assessments and treatment plans, assist with scheduling and triaging service needs.
- Complete mandated reporting (e.g. Vulnerable Adult, Child Protection, Ombudsman) in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
- Adhere to all ethical, legal, regulatory, and confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings.
- Maintain timely, accurate and compliant documentation in the electronic health record
- Complete all required documentation, reports, and charting in a thorough, organized and timely manner.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and best practices; maintain appropriate professional behavior
- Participate and engage in regular supervision with assigned manager(s) based on role assignment
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance and work schedule.
- Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences or related field
- Qualified as a Mental Health Professional, maintaining an LICSW, LP, LPCC, or LMFT license in the State of Minnesota
