LPN: $26.06/hour – $33.86/hour - Pay Range Statement Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Pay within our ranges may also be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities as well as internal equity. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation based on role (e.g., shift differential, bonus, sales incentive, productivity pay, etc.).

Health Partners is currently hiring for a CMA/LPN for our Wabasha location in primary care.
The required qualifications for the LPN position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current LPN licensure in Minnesota.
- Current BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling.
One year working experience as an LPN is preferred.
The LPN position responsibilities include:
Identify common and recurring nursing needs of the patient.
Recognize the need for and perform routine office procedures and testing in the ambulatory care setting.
Assist patients to achieve basic health care goals.
Identify patient education needs, provide instruction and refer appropriately.
Document observations, actions and patient outcomes.
Provide safe, accurate and clinically competent direct care to patients and families.
Recognize patient’s abnormalities or urgent problems and seek appropriate assistance.
Obtain health history information. Obtain accurate vital signs, recognize and report variances.
Teach techniques or provide information according to established program.
Accurately and appropriately document procedures and treatment in each patient’s record.
Appropriately communicate information to other members of the health care team.
Provide the patient and family with current and accurate information regarding the procedure and care.
Perform telephone screening under direction of RN or MD.
Assure patients’ rights to privacy, safety and confidentiality.
Maintain current practice by obtaining continuing education in relevant practice areas.
Maintain CPR certification.
Serve as a catalyst in improving standards of LPN practice.
Serve as a role model for technical conduct and practice.
Provide support to professional and technical staff.
Solve problems appropriately seeking assistance from members of the healthcare team.
Effect positive response from patients and other members of the healthcare team through interpersonal skills.
The required qualifications for the CMA/RMA position include:
High School diploma or GED
Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration through AAMA or AMT
- Current BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling
Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions
Preferred:
At least six months recent (within the last 3 years) experience in a direct patient care setting
The CMA/RMA position responsibilities include:
Room patients and complete vital signs and other pertinent physical measurements.
Administer medication and clinical procedures according to authorized policy and documented according to Health Partners policy. This may include DISCUS or AIMS assessment.
Review charts for the presence of pertinent information relevant to the patients appointment. This may include Prepared Practice work as developed by the team.
Provide and document any needed and requested health educational materials to the patient.
