Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour

This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining public spaces, stocking housekeeping supplies, and assisting guests as needed by providing friendly, courteous, and professional service while adhering to health regulations to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Responsible for cleaning hotel public spaces
• Stocks housekeeping supplies and linen
• Delivers housekeeping related items to guest rooms
• Ensures guest satisfaction in housekeeping service
• Responds to requests positively and timely while providing high quality service to guests
• Works as a team player and contributes to other departments as necessary
• Understands and follows the company guest service recovery program
• Maintains a clean and safe work area in compliance with regulations
• Reports all maintenance needs and service issues
• Knowledgeable on safe use of chemicals utilized within the housekeeping department
• Follows all procedures for guest/employee incidents
• Knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures
• Produces required volume of work by planning, organizing, and prioritizing duties
• Adheres to attendance, grooming, appearance standards, and general work rules and department procedures
• Attends all required department and hotel meetings
• Responsible for proper use of all equipment and supplies

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred

• Housekeeping/laundry experience preferred
• Attention to detail, customer focused, and ability to perform job duties in a repetitious and fast-paced environment
• Maintains predictable and reliable attendance
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift
• Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling bending) for extended periods
