Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel or hospitality environments, with expertise in floor care and custodial management. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff alike.
Duties- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote professional development and high performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to company policies.
- Develop cleaning schedules and assign tasks based on occupancy levels and special requests.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
- Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the facility.
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, custodial practices, and industrial cleaning methods.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Soartress Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week. Training
