DescriptionThe Courtyard in Bloomington seeks a part‑time Housekeeping Associate for weekend shifts. The role involves cleaning guestrooms to company standards, providing friendly service, adhering to health regulations, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Clean and maintain guestrooms, ensuring amenities and supplies are ready.
- Keep carts, linens, rooms, and equipment clean and functional.
- Deliver service that meets guest satisfaction expectations.
- Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members and support other departments.
- Follow the guest service recovery and lost‑and‑found procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report issues.
- Use chemicals safely within the housekeeping department.
- Handle guest/employee incidents per company procedures.
- Know hotel emergency procedures.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize work to meet required volume.
- Adhere to attendance, grooming, appearance, and general work rule policies.
- Attend required department and hotel meetings.
- Use equipment and supplies properly.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Housekeeping/laundry experience preferred.
- Attention to detail, customer-focused, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Reliable attendance record.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and move around hotel for extended periods.
- Hotel experience preferred.
