Position Summary
The role of the Greeter/Host/Cashier at the Radisson Blu Mall of America Executive Lounge is to provide courteous, efficient, and inviting service to guests. The position requires preparing beverages, managing food and beverage presentation, maintaining lounge cleanliness, and utilizing excellent communication skills to ensure a top‑level guest experience in a fast‑paced upscale environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare beverages for guests promptly and courteously.
- Complete the opening checklist to prepare the lounge for service.
- Warmly greet all guests upon arrival.
- Answer incoming phone calls to the Executive Class Lounge.
- Set up and break down all food and beverage presentation.
- Alert the kitchen when food or beverage items need replenishment and refill promptly.
- Complete food and beverage requisition for the next day’s delivery.
- Restock, refill, clear counters and tables, wash dishes, and vacuum the lounge at the end of every shift.
- Maintain a positive inter‑departmental relationship with hotel staff and outside vendors.
- Adhere to legal standards and alcohol training guidelines for alcohol service to guests.
- Serve each guest one‑to‑one with utmost courtesy.
- Inspect and maintain overall cleanliness and appearance of the lounge, including temperature, lighting, and music.
- Quickly clear dirty table settings and sanitize for the next seating.
- Provide 100% guest satisfaction by offering genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.
- Respond to guest concerns with empathy, offer solutions, and follow through.
- Perform other duties as required by management to uphold brand behavior and genuine hospitality.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an upscale restaurant, guest service, or hotel environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team‑spirit attitude and willingness to help.
- Effective communication with department managers, team members, and guests.
- Ability to provide general hotel information.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Lift, pull, or push up to 70 pounds, including moving a luggage cart with up to 70‑pound items.
- Squat, bend, kneel, and twist as required.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of more than 50 pounds.
